Not good for narrow door frames
These are ok for wide door frames but very difficult to adjust on narrow front door frames .

Squeaky and ok
One is squeaky and thr other is fine. I can't be bothered to take it back yet as I just screwed jt in and it's an awkward angle. Going to put some silicone spray on it in the hope that it stops the squeak.

It will pay for itself
Bought it a month ago, it started off a bit creaky but that has eased off with use. Really easy to install and works a treat. Use it to keep a door to a cold part of the house closed. Saves some wasted heat, expect it to pay for itself in saved energy costs within the course of a winter.

Noisy
This product it so noisy when opening and closing sounds like a clacker at a football match !

Be patient- works well
Easy enough to fit. Had read reviews. Took two weeks for wife to stop complaining about the noise, terrible grating to start with then settled down. Works well cheap n cheerful, peace restored.

Noisy, when it works
Every couple of weeks, this little bugger gets really noisy, followed by being stuck open, which means it doesn’t work. When it’s stuck open, it’ll then sometimes suddenly slam shut, causing a loud bang. Some silicone spray will help it work fine for a bit, but after a couple of weeks, the show starts again. Annoying and unreliable.

Noisy operation
Bought today and found it makes a scratching noise like the internal spring is scraping metal poor Yale product.

Works well
Instructions say that it should be mounted flush with door surface but I've got it on the architrave push back below it's mounted depth and it works fine. As others have said the creaking stops...in my case it had stopped within 24hrs as the door is heavily used. Just make sure the arrow points toward the direction you're wanting to close and watch out for drill chuck scratching the paint.

Bathroom door cliser
Bought this yesterday to keep my bathroom door closed we live in a bungalow and hated seeing the toilet every time somebody entered the house. My husband fitted it really quickly he was a bit pessimistic about it fitting to the arcitraving but went on no problem. As others have said a bit noisy at first but now one day later quieter already. Highly recommended good price as well

Just the job!
Works great, easy to fit. It is a little noisy (creaky) in operation but overall I'm very pleased.
