Super heaters
We bought two of these radiators to replace horizontal ones in our living room and kitchen and they are great. The plumber who installed them said they were a great purchase. Glad that we went for steel ones and not aluminium as there were so many bad reviews for those (and plumber doesn’t like them either). They heat up beautifully and certainly make a difference having had a small one in the kitchen previously. Our only issue - which wasn’t wholly down to B&Q is the fact that they didn’t arrive together. There was a mix up with the delivery company and they had to make two separate deliveries which was an inconvenience considering we work full time. No compensation or good will gesture was offered luckily I had an understanding boss!!

Excellent but heavy and needs instructions!
As a previous reviewer here said "be aware that these SHOULD be marked with a sticker to indicate the top and I've had a few that have not been marked. This means that if you install them incorrectly they don't heat up properly and have to be disconnected and reversed, which is a pain (and additional cost)" If you look down each of the two small horizontal tubes you will find that one is clear but the other has baffles in it and this tube is at the bottom.

A good radiator - if you install it the right way
it's a good radiator - i have installed the tubular and the square ones around the house. However - be aware that these SHOULD be marked with a sticker to indicate the top and I've had a few that have not been marked. This means that if you install them incorrectly they don't heat up properly and have to be disconnected and reversed, which is a pain (and additional cost)

Very smart
This radiator looks great in our refurbished kitchen/diner, and warms up the large area very efficiently. First one arrived damaged but b&q replaced it very quickly.

Great appearance
Bought this as I had to make space in my kitchen for a new fridge freezer. This radiator is great the heat from it is amazing and the radiator in my kitchen is now a feature.

Great
Extremmly Heavy - more awkward to move the boxed item, but once unpacked was not too hard to fix to the wall with two people, though due to the weight I used 8 bolts instead of the 4 provided. Great heat ouput whilst still looking stylish.

Vilkan square radiator
Good radiator, puts out a lot of heat and takes up little space. Unfortunately, we didn't discover until the plumber had got it on to the wall that it had been manufactured with the end column misaligned to the rest. The last spacing looks much narrower than the rest. As we didn't fancy taking it down again, getting it returned etc, we're stuck with it. Advice: it's very heavy but if you have two strong people around, it's worth getting all the packaging off to take a look at it when it's delivered.

Great product, looks good and gives out the heat as said. This product is very heavy so help is required when fitting it.

brilliant radiator, but difficult to install
Does what it says on the tin - delivers a torrent of heat while taking up just 18 inches of wall space. I have tow now - one in my kitchen and one in my dining room But the mounting brackets are poor - no vertical adjustment, thin bendy metal, puny screws. I got my builder to install mine with some decent screws and plugs, then he and I lifted the 73kg radiator into place.
