Waste of webspace
First and foremost the illustration does not belong to the Wirquin item EAN: 3375537183913. The EAN of the item illustrated is 03675335. It is not branded. The illustrated device suffers from a defect that probably falls foul of the Sale of Goods act insofar as it is not fit for purpose. The Pop-Up feature does work well. The problem is cleaning. The chrome-plated dial/cap that conceals the overflow and rotates to lift the plug is fixed by screw to the brass shaft. Thus 2 problems: 1) a posi-screwdriver is required to remove for cleaning, and 2) the brass shaft and chrome plating react chemically to bond them so strongly that having a screwdriver is irrelevant. If you are conscientious enough to apply silicone grease and take the unit apart for cleaning and grease replacement frequently, you may get good service out of it, otherwise see image of the broken shaft of original that my purchased replaced. - I would've changed it but for the extreme difficulty of replacing the drain part of the assembly. In terms of cost: it is grossly overpriced

didnt last long.
ive had this item for just over a year. it wouldn't pop up the plug. i removed the item to fix it and the cable has rusted away. instead of paying £27 im trying to get the linking cable replaced. if you buy one of these remove the little covers (only one screw) and pack well with grease. if that fails im going back to the old way of pulling out the a plug for less than a tenner. and lasts longer!

Well rounded Product
bought this to replace my worn old bath drain, and all fitted perfectly (other reviewer states it is a non standard size) i had no such issues (or maybe my drain hole is "non-standard") either way good quality for the price ! only minor let down is the overflow grill (the part that meets with the bath is made from chromed plastic, although i have faith it will last i would have preferred metal throughout but for thoose fitting on a slightly curved bath this will be a life saver as it will flex slightly to accommodate the shape of your bath the drain and control dial are made from thick metal that feels it will hold up over time, Very good product !

good looking product.
Unfortunately this product does not match the standard bath. A new bath trap will be needed & then some adaption will be required. The overflow is of a different diamaeter than the standard bath so a further adaption has to be made. would not recommend to anyone. All that said the product is well made & of good quality.
