Growing your own potatoes is easy. The Winston Potato variety has a excellent flavour & can easily be grown in containers.

• Sunny, light cool frost free place.
• Plant in Moist Neutral
• Harvesting period: June-July
• Instructions for planting: Place seed potatoes in a seed trays or shallow boxes with buds (ëyes") upper most and place in a light, cool but frost free place to sprout ("chit"). Mist spray daily, the potatoes are ready to plant when the shoots are about 3 cm long. Rub off the weakest
• After planting care instructions: When stems reach about 23 cm high draw soil up to the top of the stems from either side creating a ridge ("earthing up"). As the stems continue to grow, repeat the process. This both protects newly emerging foliage from frost damage and developing potatoes
