Unbound ready mixed tile adhesive.

Didn't even want to give a star. Used for floor tiles and didn't set. Left for one month and didn't set. Used 2 tubs. Had to smash out and use another adhesive. Disgraceful!!!

Great product

Bought 2 tubs of this for my wall tiles and it was on offer, works perfect, haven’t had any issues in 3 months of the tiles being up and happily buying again to do my kitchen floor Yes it was a bit stiff but just needs to be worked a little and all is good

Unhappy!

I wish that I’d seen the reviews on this product before I purchased it. This adhesive is difficult to use as it’s too thick and doesn’t have the smooth consistency of other ready mix adhesives that I’ve used before. Ease of use is not the only downside, as it doesn’t seem to stick to the wall prior to placing the tiles.

Dont Buy

Just used 3x 15kg tubs of BAL Green Star no problem, I ran out so I used this for the last few tiles, 2 have fallen off (so far).

Awful adhesive doesn’t work

As with other comments it doesn’t adhere to the tile and tiles fall off. It seems to not dry despite being on the wall for a week. Difficult to use as well.

Plumberedin - 1 / 5 - 23/05/2018

All tiles fell off 4hrs after installation

Worst grout ever used, all tiles fell off. Had to replace box of tiles and strip wall back. Extra 2 days on the job

stuck on you

It seems to have done what it's supposed to do. The decorator who used the product had no complaints with the product.

Poor product

Started tiling with this stuff, went back to first tile after half an hour to find it was loose and came off the wall in my hand, and i found there was no adhesive stuck to the back of the tile, It's as if it had formed 'a skin' before the tile had been pushed on the the wall (N.B working time is 1/2 an hour - tile was fitted within seconds of adhesive being applied) Had to remove all tiles and scrape this stuff off the wall, i took it back to B&Q and was told it is a faulty batch that they new about and they had cleared their shelves of the faulty ones, so I swapped it for a new one outside of that faulty production date, Started tiling the same wall only to find exactly the same thing happened again, took it back and bought some of there 'Diall' adhesive which has worked perfectly fine!! Wasted hours of my time on an otherwise trusted branded name - feel really let down by unibond and B&Q for still stocking this rubbish!! ##From reading these reviews it's clear this has been a problem for quite some time and is not just a faulty batch!##

Doesnt wor!k dont get this!

Don't use this product it doesn't work. Left the tiles for over 3 days many of them still came off the wall. adhesive was still wet. Use a quality powder product it might cost more but you only have to do it once.

Horrendous product

As a qualified tiler with over 25 years experience i used this for the 1st time today (customer supplied all materials) and it will certainly be the last time. Absolutely horrific to use
