Unibond easy smooth silicone sealant
I applied this to a completely dry, sealant free joint between ceramic tiles and acrylic bath tub. Felt like it wasn't curing properly so I left it dry for 72 hours in a well ventilated room with window open. A week later it still felt squidgy in places and when I found these reviews I realised the mistake id made buying this. I peeled it off and in places it was a wet putty underneath. The places that had dried properly peeled off worryingly easily. A terrible product that quite simply doesn't do what it says it does.

Easy to use and wipes clean
I brought this product to use in my kitchen. I thought it was abit expensive at nearly £10 but it was very easy to use and I love the fact it comes with a lid if you don't use it all instead of sticking a screw in the top to try and keep it like most other silicones I've used. I also fount it very easy to wipe the excess off with a damp cloth and leaves a good finish. I've used others before and struggle to wipe the excess off and it usually smears everywhere. I will be buying this product again over any other

shrinks and lifts
What can I day? I should have read the reviews. This Easy Smooth sealant goes on a treat, nice and easy to smooth, but even after leaving for 24 hours it shrank, leaving ugly grooves in the middle, and it hasn't stuck to our new shiny acrylic bath. I only bought this because I ran out of the Unibond Healthy Kitchen & Bathroom Anti Mould sealant, which does work well. Don't buy the Healthy Kitchen & Bathroom Easy Smooth sealant, you'll have to do it again afterwards with a proper sealant.

Don't buy it
Agree with the other reviews. Used this sealant round the bath at the weekend, left for over 24 hours to dry, but didn't set, looks a mess and now I will have to do it again - with a different sealant.

DO NOT USE
Absolutely terrible product not fit for purpose , wish I had read the reviews before I used it ! Goes on great but shrinks and cracks after a day or two and remains mush under the surface

Works for me - please don't stop selling it
Please don't stop selling it! Personally I hate silicone sealant, it's messy to put on and time consuming to rip off; always leaving remnants behind, if you only need a small application you have to throw the whole tube away because it goes off after a couple of days. This product is totally different - it is easy to apply and clean up afterwards, and it doesn't go off in the tube. It did take a couple of goes to get it right because you probably need to use slightly more, but it was so quick to scrape off and redo. In my experience you have to give it >24 hours to go off (the longer the better), if you can't do that then I would probably stay away. It's been working beautifully in our shower for 6 months now. I no longer having to reseal it.

Totally useless, STAY AWAY FROM THIS!!
This product is useless as others I wish I'd read before purchasing. I have sealed many things over the years but this really tested my patience....took out twice and tomorrow going to buy the cheaper silicone. I also purchased the silicone scrapper/smoother which is also useless. Not very good Unibond! Shame I had already used it otherwise I would have taken back. Waste of £9+

Dreadful - I had to rip it all off and start again
I thought this sealer would be better than "normal" silicone sealer because it is water based. I did think twice but since it cost about £4 more than "normal" stuff I thought it must be okay. It was certainly easier to smooth and less messy because it's water based but it just doesn't set. I did a bathroom and returned a week later and prodded it with my finger as you do - I was flabbergasted when my finger just went straight into it. Had to rip it up and start again with "normal" silicone sealer (the stuff that smells like vinegar). The only good thing about it was that it also has lousy adhesion compared to the "normal" stuff - so it came off relatively easily. Don't touch with a barge pole (no pun intended).

Terrible Product
I used this product to reseal a bath, within a few days the sealant started to peel away. The sealant hadn't cured properly, I cleaned the product off, carefully prepared the area again and re-applied, again the product failed. I don't usually bother reading (or writing) reviews but I really wished that I had read other peoples opinions on this rubbish!

Not Happy!
Should have read the reviews before buying this over-priced and poor product. Have now solved my shower leakage problem with a sealant costing a third of the price and actually works!
