Best shovel since the Stanley accuscape.
Don’t believe the bad reviews. This shovel is 100% the best shovel I’ve had since the stanley Accuscape. Forget your traditional shovels this thing is a beast. No more back snapping and hunched over like you would with a normal spade this thing makes you graft quicker. Makes every job seem like a breeze. Dont be a put off by the bad reviews clearly they are using it way past its intended use

Best shovel iv ever used
I bought this shovel three years ago. In those years is has been used to move around 9 tonnes of soil and concrete, uproot two trees, dig out multiple raised beds and cut though some tough roots. Added to that I'm not gentle with my tools, imagine a 17st gorilla hammering on it ever time it's used and you'll get the idea. In short, buy this shovel, it's very well made, extremely robust and the shovel head is very tough. It's starting to show wear but that'll be easily fixed with epoxy paint.

Looks good, but don't be fooled
I bought this spade thinking it looked the real deal, strong, tough and would last ages. I have used it a couple of times to dig over an overgrown garden and left it out in the rain we had a couple of days thinking its a plastic handle and a treated spade head so it should be fine. Went out today and found the edges had all rusted and the 'treated' surface had vanished. Also the handle bends badly when lifting heavy loads on the spade head. Terrible product. Avoid!!

The is a great shovel
Ignore everything, everyone else has said about this shovel I'm a landscape gardener and I use this daily shoveling type 1, building sand, bark chips, shingle I've used it for everything takes a beating best shovel ive ever used

Not a good shovel
Unfortunately I thought because of the handle construction it would be stronger than a traditional wooden one, Big mistake!!! The handle snapped at the end of the strengthening insert. Poor design and not impressed after paying so much for it!
