Check the use-by-date before you buy
Bought a pack from B&Q yesterday but when I got home I noticed the use by date was 4 months ago. Grrrr. Make sure you check the use by dates on the sachets before buying. My star ratings are for B&Q and not Sugru!

Fantastic and limited only by creative use
We have had Sugru used for many uses in the household over the last few years since we were introduced to it. For example, we have employed it to: 1) seal cracks in ceiling/staircase joints 2) fix spectacle handles (chewed off by our 7 year old!) 3) mend rubber sections electric cables (on lawn mover, vacuum cleaner) 4) seal loose joints in sink to tap section (which as leaking slightly) We find it less messy than glue and becomes strong and rubbery after it dries. Highly recommended. The only thing is that it is relatively dear.

Once set it holds tight
I used this to fix dash camera cable around the car. It has worked really well. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as stick as blue tac at first but once it sets it is really firm. I used blobs of blue tac to help support cable until Sugru had set. I used a large blob of Sugru to fix a shelves in the fridge door and it has worked perfectly. To make the fix be prepared to support the parts unti Sugru has set. Once it has set it is like plastic welding.
