At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. Worse product ever made
I painted my kitchen in this paint. The next day there was hair line cracks everywhere. Like scales dry skin. I applied another coat but when it dried it did the same. Previously I rubbed down the existing paint with sand paper to apply a good key. No matter how many coats I applied, it just went scaley when dry. Even after painting over with countless coats of high quality dulux paint, the cracks still came through. It took 2 tins on zinser paint to prime the walls again and repaint with real paint. The same happened in my daughters bedroom except this time the paint bubbled off all the walls everywhere 2 years later from application. I may have to re plaster the whole room fix it. I may be able to use a course sander to remove all the paint, but this will take days of labour time BEWARE using this paint could cost you thousands of pounds to rectify the damage that it causes

There’s much better paint out there
Advertised as one coat and it took three. I’d recommend staying away from this paint and going with another brand. I’m surprised they can even advertise it as one coat. A big diy letdown.

Really don't bother!
I bought a large quantity of this paint for our new house and I totally regret it! I never expect 'one coat paint' to be exactly that, but I've had to do an average of 4 coats in each room (this is 'Colours Premium' by the way). On the hall, stairs and landing I've used 'Colours Durable' in Custard Cream - Matt. A really nice colour but I so wish I'd bought Dulux or Crown. It doesn't cover, the 'finish' is completely different using a brush to cut-in to the roller. Some of it has bubbled and pealed, some of it has crazed and these are all properly prepared walls with no issues. The final tub of matt paint, despite being labeled as such, was actually silk! I give up and I will never ever buy B&Q paint again. An expensive mistake to make both in terms of money and time!

Awful paint
Wish I'd checked the reviews first. As others have said we painted a magnolia wall with the grey & it took four coats & the magnolia still bleeds through. I've painted no end of rooms & never had this issue with other paint. Also cutting in with a brush compared to rolling leaves two different colours of grey? Had 16 hours of drying time & some parts of the wall it's as if the paint reacts to the previous coat as it bubbled up straight away. Now left with a sanding down & repaint job. Thanks B&Q for wasting hours of my life

Covered in 2 coats
Was the colour we has looking for and for the price it covered well and was very nice to apply to the walls

Too much like glue to paint with
This is neither one coat, nor nice to paint with. I started painting a small spare bedroom and this paint made life very difficult. In order to get any coverage on already white emulsioned wall I needed to re-load my roller after virtually half a 'roll' on the wall, and even then the coverage was sparse. It dried patchy, it definitely needed more than one coat. It was like painting with glue. However, the 'marshmallow' colour in the same range is much easier to apply. So whatever they've done with this Shadow pigment needs sorting out. I wouldn't buy range again based on just the Shadow colour. (NB I bought both shadow and marshmallow in same purchase - had i just bought shadow on it's own i wouldn't have then gone and bought the marshmallow colour as that was for a larger bedroom and the thought of using that consistency on such a large area would have killed me off !).

Too gloopy, poor coverage
Don't care about brands but will stick to big names next time. Was pleased with the colour (strong purple over faded yellow!) even though it needed several coats to cover. But after a few weeks, the paint somehow "split" after drying perfectly. Have just spent my Sunday afternoon going over it (again!) Oh and the tester pots aren't quite the same shade so touching up didn't work and left a patchy wall! I'm a keen DIY painter but never had this happen before with any paint!

Terrible paint
I agree with the others on this. I am a very experienced painter but was totally baffled by this paint. When you paint one stroke and then paint the next stroke alongside it it completely removes the previous stroke of paint (even with no delay between strokes). Its a great colour but all my walls are now lumpy and need sanding and repainting.

Worst paint ever
Bought this last week and applied to a ceiling. The paint kept pulling off no matter how careful I was when going back and forth across the ceiling and catching areas which had started to dry. Did'nt cover with one coat. Bought a lighter Dulux Once which did cover it all with one coat. Never again, stick to Dulux !

Very thick paint
We bought this to cover 3 small walls (not full walls, I might add) in our bedroom and we had to go out and purchase more paint to finish the job. For perspective, Valspar paint of the same 2.5Ltr, did my whole kitchen with extra left over. I would say, buy Valspar over B&Q normal/standard brand any day.
