Patchy
I wish I’d read the reviews first. After 2 coats it still looks awful. 2x2.5ltr used already on a small living room and I’m going to have to give it another coat. I’ve only given it 2* because the colour is nice.

Nice finish on the wall
Whilst the product says one coat you do need to apply 2 coats to get the best finish. Meant we had to buy more than we originally purchased. Colour is exactly what we wanted and same as the tester we tried first. Overall I am happy with the purchase but one coat it is not and we used this for our hallway, stairwell and living room.

Fantastic paint
So I bought this paint not realising it was one coat. Painted my lounge thinking I was going to do a second coat. Got everything ready next day for 2nd coat and was really impressed I only had to touch up a couple of places. So its one coat all the way for us. What a time saver.

Great colour, good finish, high quality paint
Having used this colour for the hall, stairs and corridor in this house I'm coming back for another batch for the rest of downstairs. Properly prepared and applied (don't overwork it) it is a really good thick paint. It stands up well to a lot of wear and tear, too. You get what you pay for and cheap paint is generally a false economy. The Soft Coffee shade is perfect as a sophisticated neutral background colour. Regarding the (inexplicable!) bad reviews - 1) no household paint's going to cover dark to light in one coat; you're always going to need an undercoat if you want a quality finish. With cheap paint you need a first coat and a topcoat every time, with this you just need a topcoat. 2) The quality of paint finish is also proportionate to the pre-preparation of the surface. I used this paint in a different shade in a bathroom and it flaked off after a few months - because I hadn't sanded the plaster properly. Sanded down, recoated and it's perfect. It was my fault, not the paint's!

Struggling.......
.......to see why there are so many negative reviews. Used in the playroom. Admittedly took two coats over some lime green walls, but ones previously covered in magnolia were covered in one coat. Paint is nice to work with, does not 'flick' and stays wet whilst brushing/rollering (if it's going dry, you are probably painting too many walls in one go!). Walls were sanded and sugar soaped prior to application. Maybe the proof is in the prep work??

Terrible quality.
Isnt one coat. Cracks when dry. Easily stains. Dries too quickly when applying. Overall a terrible product.
