Product information

This emulsion paint is suitable for ceilings, metal, walls & wood and covers up to 8.8m² per litre on average.

Features and benefits

  • Our toughest most versatile paint
  • Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
  • We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
  • For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat
  • Scrubbable for removing marks and dirt
  • At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Rubbish

Like painting with thick glue. Forward stroke of brush or roller puts it on, backward stroke takes it off again. Impossible to cut in to ceiling or skirtings as it will not flow from the brush. Had to go back to B & Q to buy the same colour in their standard emulsion to re paint the whole room again, as first coat of this stuff looked such a mess. In more than 40 years of decorating this so called premium emulsion is the worst paint I have ever used. The standard B & Q Colours emulsion is fine, so I strongly recomend that you buy that instead.

Dreadful coverage and dries patchy!

The Colours Premium Alep Matt Emulsion Paint has caused us a great deal of frustration and disappointment. It is certainly NOT a one coat paint and the worst thing is - it dries very patchy. Corners, edges and areas where we have tried to cover the thin application have all dried a completely different colour - meaning we now have to repaint the entire room (images attached). I can't express how angry we are, not so for the money we have wasted but more for the time. We spent three entire days redecorating our new bedroom with this product only to find it has all now been in vain and we have to start all over again, from scratch.

not one coat at all!

Painting over a white wall - Have had to apply a second thick coat of this paint after applying liberally the first time so will get nowhere near the coverage it states on the tin.
