Product information

This emulsion paint is suitable for ceilings, metal, walls & wood and covers up to 8.8m² per litre on average.

Features and benefits

  • Our toughest most versatile paint
  • Great coverage in just one coat, saving you time and money
  • We recommend using a one coat roller for optimal application
  • For best results follow the instructions on the tin carefully, a second coat may be required if overpainting a darker colour with a lighter top coat
  • Scrubbable for removing marks and dirt
  • At B&Q we want you to be satisfied with your colour selection. Not all monitors will display colours the same and paint tins may not show the same colour as your walls do in natural light. We therefore recommend you order a tester pot online or pop in store to pick one up so you are sure that this is the right colour for you.

Yes, but...!

Yes, as previous reviews have said, it's not the easiest paint to apply... But as with most 'one coat' thick paints in very deep colours, using a paint pad (rather than a roller or brush) will provide consistent application pressure & your result will be much better. I had no trouble with it. Yes, as previous reviews say, the colour of the dried paint is not the same as the colour of it as wet paint... Is this concept new? just buy a sample pot for a quid and do test-patches in areas of differing light intensity on the wall to be painted. If you dont like it, dont buy a great big tub full. Finally, this shade of green is virtually impossible to find elsewhere, including the high-end brands. I spent months trying to locate it for a Victorian hallway and was really happy to discover that what at first looked like a mismatch actually dried to a perfect one.

One Coat Never

Just completed my room with this Premium paint, guess what 2 coats, not covered 100%. Have used the Colours matt paint in other rooms and have been very satisfied with application and coverage, this stuff not a good choice!! May try a 3rd coat as I have paint left from buying 2 x 2.5lt

Worst paint I have ever bought

'One coat' ? Well I know from experience not to believe. Coverage was awful, with a good named brand of paint, multiple coats cover beautifully and you cannot tell one layer from the next. With this one, multiple coats left it patchy, dark in some areas, light in others, if you did one coat and left it for too long in another area, it looked awful. If you let different areas dry at different rates, it wouldn't match..! Ended up putting on seriously thick coats to keep the wall wet and dry at a similar rate to the area previously painted but even then wasn't consistent. Wouldve completely changed my colour scheme had I known..! Now need to strategically cover bad bits of wall with mirrors, pictures and shelves as I have given up trying to make it look good!
