Scilla siberica is one of the earliest spring bloomers, producing intense blue, bell-shaped nodding flowers. A wonderful way to add a sea of blue to rock gardens, borders and semi-shaded areas. They combine nicely with Glory of the Snow and with Snowdrops.
- Planting location: Borders
- Soil moisture: Well drained
- Dig soil improver and bone meal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole.
