Great shed

The shed is sturdy enough for the price. Took 2 men approx 2hrs to erect. The instructions were easy to follow. Very pleased with it.

Quite good as for the money you have to spend.

First of all. "Shire" - poor customer service. Shed - easy to build, all fixings you need comes with it, I just had to get longer nails (30mm) to fix roof felt. Roof felt itself is very "paper like" so be careful - once on the roof it is alright. The floor seems to be weak but did not break so far - I thought to put something on top but decided not to. The only small issue was with the window - I had to make few cuts to hide hinges - otherwise window would not fully close. If you do not have too much money and need a shed, then go for it. I made huge research and in my opinion for this money it is the best option. Do not forget to use some wood protector before assembly.

Not What I Expected

After waiting 5 weeks for the shed to arrive. it eventually arrived 3.5 hrs passed its time slot. With 1 delivery driver to carry it in, leaving me feeling obliged to help. After erecting the shed it was found that the door was too narrow for the frame or the frame was to big for the door. I had to buy additional wood to add to the side of the of the structure to that the door would fit and add strips of wood onto the door to strengthen it.

Good size for not much money

Well you pay for want you get, good points first, : cheap and good size : delivery was very good an hassle free : anyone with not much diy skills can build this Even a 8 year-old can help : time to build , at a very slow pace was 5 hours on a hot day : make sure you have the tools for the job too Ie 5mm drill bit and a good drill and screw bits : window is easy to fit but if your wanting to have the window on a fenced side make sure you fit this first but not the catches Bad bits : floor needs additional support between joists Due to flexing a lot : instructions are ok but you might find you have to use different parts of it on how to build your shed : door way is low down I'm 6'4 and it's 5'8 : the gable in the middle of the roof is also low too, so for tall people it's a pain : the roof at the pitch has a gap that's covered by the roof felt so anything dropped on top will tear the roof pitch : you will need to buy frame sealant for any gaps or daylight seen ,close the door to help you to find them , then use sealant on the exterior gaps ie all the panel joints before fitting the cover strips or it will leak like a sieve also seal inside the roof to top of the walls and floor to walls from water entering : you will need to paint the outside to help protect the wood as the factory treatment is not deep also good to hide the sealer from any gaps you covered .

Not brilliant

Had to use a saw to trim some panels so that they fitted flush together. Floor is very weak and we have added a sub-floor for extra strength. Quite a few knot holes which needed to be filled to help weatherproof the shed. The felt supplied was so thin and tore very easily, we bought a better quality felt which we have fitted. Watch the height of the doorway, I am only 5'4" and have hit my head several times as it is so low. The window is much better quality, it is a shame the shed isn't as good. The money saved buying a cheaper shed has been spent improving it so that it will be sturdier, and hopefully last a bit longer.

Decent shed

Happy enough with the overall quality of the shed. Nowhere near enough screws provided to make it properly secure so buy extras. Instructions could be clearer. Make sure you pre drill all screwholes as the wood is soft and prone to splitting so don't cut corners.

very bad thin wood

I bought 1 about 2 months ago and I wish I had spent my money on a dust bin ,looks good but the base and roof are made of chip board keep well away don't buy the inges on the door and the latch are very poor and you could get a baby to bend them terrible, zero stars why are the inges on the outside perthetic design

Good little shed

Durham Apex shed was delivered about a month ago very promptly as initially booked in. Purchased online from B&Q and seems good for the price. It took two men one afternoon to put up. It was a bit fiddly, as roof came in lots of small bits. So far I'm happy with it though.
