Quality control - what quality control?
Before building this shed I decided to paint all of it with Fencelife as the "pressure treatment" on the timber did not inspire confidence. This gave me the chance to study it closely. The one recurring question in my mind was "how bad does a piece of timber have to be before this lot rejects it?" The answer seems to be that no timber is bad enough to be rejected in the building of these sheds. One of the doors has knot holes in as well as gaps where the timber has splintered. The bottoms of the side pieces splinter and break if you give them a hard look! One piece of trim had a knot hole so large that it was about 80% of the width of the timber. I know that these things are made to a price - but the price this one was made to was rather less than I paid for it. If I could do it again I would spend a bit more and get a well made shed.
