Simply the best
I have used Sadolin varnish for many years, on hardwood windows as well as my shed. It has never let me down with a nice finish

Brilliant product
I've been using Sadolin on wooden steps and facing on my house for probably 20 years - every 3 years or so I run awire brush over the surface, give it a wipe then slap on more Sadolin. Takes no time to do, comes up looking great with a tough finish, and protects wood very well. Highly recommended

Excellent Stain - True redwood
Hubby put up some shelves in redwood but the store had run out of it and had to use oak for a couple of the shelves so needed a stain for the oak to match the redwood. Purchased the Sadolin stain in redwood and once it dried, found it to be an excellent match for the redwood and cannot notice the difference between the two wood colours, only the difference in grains . Really pleased with this wood stain but would say it does take rather a long time to dry. One coat of this stain gives a true redwood colour over a light coloured wood. I would highly recommend it/
