Does not peal in full sun
This is a really good product. I've had it on the garage doors and windows for the last 10 years and it does not peal like other products that were on before it. Yes it's dark for natural. Yes it takes ages to dry, just like gloss. Yes it needs a single coat top up every 3 or 4 years because it's a wood stain and not a paint. But it doesn't peal. It doesn't really matter how long it takes to dry. It does matter how long it lasts.

There are better products out there
Previous tin left a decent matt finish which was fine but when I ran out and bought another tin it left a semi gloss finish, which was rather annoying. Takes forever to dry too.

I agree with the last 2 reviews in that the colour is not natural, but makes the surface of the wood one shade darker. Plus the time it takes to dry, which is an age. Also twelve months after using it on my back door, looks as though I’ll have apply a couple more coats to see the door through the winter

Too dark for a natural stain
Cannot comment on durability as I used it for the first time. Dries fairly quickly but streaks unfortunately, too. Colour is kind of heather honey, therefore it's only 2 * from me.

WILL BE LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE
I have just used this on some garden furniture I made and going on past experience, Sadolin was supposed to be one of the better products. I will admit it looks good, if a little darker than expected for natural, however the biggest problem was the length of time for it to dry, even to get a second coat on. We are talking days, like 4/6 and when all you want to do is use your new project, patience is not high on the agenda. So for that reason I would not recommend and will be looking for alternatives next time.

Good covering, easy to apply and the colour is just what I wanted as stated on the tin. My cabin now looks very professional and attractive

excellent !!!
Not the first time I have used Sadolin Extra Durable Woodstain but it seems to work better and better every time! Wood is protected for years! Have used that on a fence 3 years ago and still looks ok, even after a harsh winter wood is fine. I would recommend this product to everyone
