Cheep but brilliant. Was gonna go Dewalt but thought I’d give this a try and was not disappointed

Unbelievably Good
Bought this as a first tool and I can’t recommend it enough. Long lasting, versatile and easy to use

Good quality at a low price
Used Ryobi for many years now and always been impressed with the quality that they give at the price they charge.

Great offer
Bought this to add to my cordless range. Always buy Ryobi as they last years. I have one drill from 2010 and it's still on the original battery. This latest was on an offer and that's the key to buying Ryobi. Next on the wish list is Hedge trimmer and lawnmower.

Service poor
Had to return it the day I bought it due to the amount of sellotape which and when opened parts were missing. Obviously the had been second hand or possibly previousely used as sample or on display. Immediately they replaced it with a un-opened box. Checked perfectly packed and unopened. Poor experience. Trying to fob off??

Great versatile drill
needed a new drill - this one is pretty perfect. It is powerful, has three separate settings for drilling, percussion drilling and as scree driver, got a chuck that takes drills up to 13mm diameter, and finally lies well in the hand - excellent product

Not great for the price
This is my second Ryobi drill and the first is great, this one I am less happy with. Main criticism is that unlike my other Ryobi the light doesn't come on until the trigger is fully depressed so you can't see things in shadow without the drill spinning. The light extinguishes immediately you remove pressure from the trigger. Also switching back to forward from reverse gear needs an extra push on the button, not smooth like my other Ryobi. I wouldn't moan if it was cheap, but Ryobi tools aren't.

Drill
Bought a month ago but better with bigger battery as one with it doesn't last long .

Great Drill, does well in a variety of materials
Bought around 2 years ago, have used the drill in concrete, wood, brick and plasterboard and it performs great in all of these. The 1.5AH battery only became a problem whilst doing a full raised floor in the loft, but I bought the kit with 2x batteries, alternating between the two while one was on charge meant this was a very minor problem. The hammer function works well and has enough power to get through concrete and brick with a good quality drill bit. 2 speed gearbox is handy for driving/drilling more delicate stuff.

Yet another great tool for my Ryobi One+ set
Bought this after my old drill died and sooooo pleased with it. Light, good price and the 1.5Ah battery just keeps on and on!
