Bought 2 packs - not one bulb between them!!
There are no bulbs in these boxes - just a load of sawdust/ compost! Shocking - B&Q need to take these off the shelves looking at all these reviews. I no longer have the receipt but I will be taking back for a refund regardless.

Boxes of Compost, no plants
These boxes are highly likely to just contain compost, don't buy

No Bulbs
Imagine our surprise when we opened 2 x packets to find NO bulbs as well. As we purchased in March and have only got round to planting (May) can`t find receipts :-( .

Opened box to find no lupin bulbs !!
Bought a lupin box which was supposed to contain 3 lupin bulbs as per the packaging on the box. Took it home and the following day when I opened it to plant it, i was astonished to find that there was a bag with compost in it, but no bulbs. I was disappointed that B&Q were selling such a product, what a waste of money!!!

Only one of three actually grew Lupins.
When I opened the packaging, two of the bulbs had started to sprout but one was withered and tiny. There were also a number of small flies in there, so there must have been some contamination. I soaked them in water as suggested but the tiny one just absorbed the water and fell apart - I had to throw it away. I planted the other two and they soon started to grow shoots and leaves. However, only one had the star-shaped Lupin leaves. The other has grown large, round leaves - I'll have to wait and see what it is. Overall, I am really disappointed as I only get one Lupin plant out of the advertised three. I bought this in a three-for-two offer with two other bulbs, which didn't grow either so it looks like B&Q have a problem with their bulbs.
