You can apply this decking stain from Ronseal to , using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 90 minutes to dry and will cover up to 6.4 m² per litre on average.

Excellent
Excellent Decking stain Obviously the poor reviews are from the people who haven’t cleaned or prepared the decking properly before applying the stain I’ve Applied it to my garden decking boards it’s been down 6months and still it looks great like it was just done Great product

Different colours
Has ruined my new decking!!! I brought 2 pots both completely different colours!!! I want a refund!!

Terrible
We bought this product and applied at least two coats. Looked good until it started to rain after about a week it had dried on. The layer started to go and it looks absolutely awful. I contacted Ronseal and apart from initial couple of contacts by email they disappeared without trace. According to a colleague as well as others Ronseal product regards decking are pretty poor with similar results. In short not good at all. Does not do what it says on the tin.

Easy to apply but peals easily
This product was easy to apply however it started off like water and a dark brown then the colour in the tin changed half way through!!! We used 3 tins and each colour was slightly different even though they were the same batch number. All the cans were properly stirred so it came as a surprise and our decking was power cleaned before application. When the decking was compleaded it looked amazing. We used are area as normal with tables and chairs but this damaged the paint! Moving the chairs to sit down scratched the paint and now we need to touch it up.
