Does what says on the tin

It stained all the wood I needed it too and the finish was really good

Ronseal natural oak wood stain

I spent 3 days preparing the surface of my drive gates and after applying 2 coats of this product I am really disappointed. The finish is patchy and not a natural look at all. It is way over priced as well. I have decided to paint my gates white now.

simple to apply

I have used this product for over 10 years it does what it says on the tin if you apply it as instructed, you must put enough on as this paint wares of over time. I recoat about every six years but if you would like it to look good, it is better to recoat every 4 years.

Peels off in under a year

I did what it said on the tin. 3 coats to a new bench. Within a year, it's all peeling off. Very disappointed. Apparently the 5 year guarantee only applies to vertical slats and not horizontal slats. Doesn't say that on the tine, does it?

Skeptical

I think this paint is overpriced it dose do what is says on the tin up to now but will it last five years, as I have only just used it this is hard to say.

Doesn't do what it says on the tin

I don't know if they've changed the formula but this has gone from being a good product to awful. I'm a professional decorator and prepared the wood fully for re-staining. The stain would not spread and cover and formed 'globules' rather than even coverage. Will not use again.
