- Instructions for Use - Give the tin a good stir to make sure the colour pigment is thoroughly mixed. Test the Woodstain on a small patch to make sure you’re happy with the colour and if you are, use a brush to apply the Woodstain in the direction of the grain. Wait four hours for the first coat to dry before applying the second, leave the second coat to dry for four hours. You need three coats for the best finish. Before you apply the third coat, lightly sand the wood to help the stain stick for a smoother finish and apply the third coat. Wait 12 hours for the third coat to dry completely but it will be rainproof in just one. If you get any stain on yourself, you can wash it off with warm, soapy water.

Bench
I searched for a long time before settling on this product. It is just what I need to do my job. I have a rocking wooden bench outside and a piece of skirting inside. I also have a shelf in the living room to do, that's why I took my time searching for this product.

Does what it says on the tin
Have used this and other Ronseal products many times, like any timber decoration the key is in preparing properly and applying more than one coat. I like it, it’s decent value too. You can’t just wipe something down use it and expect it to last years.

I bought this product last summer for garden furniture, cleaned the table down, then applied 2 coats. Looked great all summer, I normally keep the table under a tarp’ but during a storm it blew away, now 7 months after I treated the table.... check the photos.

Love it easy to use and drys quick and does exactly what it says on the tin so
