This birch interior varnish from the Ronseal Interior diamond hard range can be applied to interior using a brush. The varnish dries in just 20 minutes and will cover up to 24 m² per litre on average.

Very happy with product
I brought this product to finish the top of the dining table that I have been upcycling. I was a little hesitant on this product because of the reviews, but have used Ronseal before and think they are a good brand. The product requires a lot of mixing, both before and during (this is stipulated on the instructions). I finly sanded the surface, then cleaned and allowed to dry. I painted 3 coats onto the table top and I couldn't be happier! The varnish went on well, and i ensured that there was an even coverage. I would recommend this product and think the colour is true representation of the packaging.

Rubbish
Horrible grey. Nothing like the colour its supposed to be.

Needs a thorough stir
Not a bad finish in the end. Initially it came out the olive green colour as said by other reviews but it turns out it just needed a REALLY good stir (like way more than usual) with a stick to get the birch colour.

It's green
Applied nicely to wood with a subtle sheen. The colour is nothing like on the tin though - it has a definite dull, green tinge to it. I was hoping the colour would nutralise as it dries, but no such luck. Feels more like a colour wash than a varnish. Disapointed.

Not Birch
Wish I’d read previous reviews. It does not come out looking birch it is a grey/green colour. Waste of money.

Olive Green & Terrible Coverage
Do not bother wasting your money on this! The coverage is terrible - very streaky even when applied as it should be and the colour is terrible. It's supposed to be birch but looks olive green. Not impressed with the Ronseal brand!
