You can apply this woodstain from Ronseal to , using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 1 hour to dry and will cover up to 18 m² per litre on average.

- This 5 Year Wood Stain is BBA approved to offer 5 years of protection to your exterior wood. It protects and colours wood, without hiding the natural beauty of the grain. For best protection it requires 3 coats, but that means you won't have to do it for quite some time, it's a stain that lasts.

i need to be more careful,
I am afraid I bought the wrong one, I wanted a lighter shade, MY OWN fault, I am very happy with the product, I will use it on something else.

Better than the solvent based door stain
At last a Deep Mahogany 5yr wood stain! Now I can refinish my wooden doors with one which matches the solvent range I have had to use for years. And with a 5yr lifetime and resistance to cracking that I have seen in the Wallnut product, this could be the start of a great future ... for me and my external woodwork.

Ronseal
Ronseal fine - easy to apply. However, McAllister electric chain saw motor broke down after a year of very infrequent use and the biggest piece of wood cut was a fence post. B and Q would to entertain me because I could not produce a receipt. Clearly, not a good piece of machinery! I would not recommend that to anyone.

great home delivery service
The product has been used by us for 15 years and it does just what it says on the can. It's a bit pricey from B & Q, but their home delivery service almost cancels out the pain of the product cast.Try harder on pricing please

great woodstain
Have been using this for a decade. Seems to be improved by Ronseal. Last time I painted my garage was 5 years ago and it still was sound when I re-paint it resently. I am impressed by the 5 years' claim. Didn't do so well on front door porch as it is in direct sunlight. The stain lasts about 2 years.
