You can apply this woodstain from Ronseal to , using a brush, to colour and provide protection. It takes 1 hour to dry and will cover up to 18 m² per litre on average.

- This 5 Year Wood Stain is BBA approved to offer 5 years of protection to your exterior wood. It protects and colours wood, without hiding the natural beauty of the grain. For best protection it requires 3 coats, but that means you won't have to do it for quite some time, it's a stain that lasts.

Good coverage, colour and drying time
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and have applied it to a box covering equipment on the side of the house. It went on well, covering easily and needed only 2 coats (don't yet know how long it lasted but it went on well and looks good).

Good result on two new outside doors
I used this product for two new plain doors, actually fire doors used as exterior doors. It went on very well and seems to be quite economical. I got three coats each on the inside and outside of the two doors. A total of 12 sides. The finish was good and not streaky being a wood grain stain. And still a bit left for touching up if necessary although that does not seem necessary. I have only awarded 4 stars because I have no idea how it will last given the doors face east and get quite a bit of sun during the middle of the day. I also found that being able to clean the brushes in water was a bonus.
