Easy simple to use

Does what it says on the tin! Use a sponge roller to apply it gave a great finish

good on new picnic table

Use on a new picnic table which was just plan wood

Does not do what is says on the tin.

Spend hours sanding down, apply as per destructions (Because thats what it does). Absolutely the worst overrated stain eveeeeeeeer, engine oil is better. If you buy a Mercedes Benz, you don't expect a Mini Metro. Be warned. Need to do the job again.PS. This stuff is like varnish and does not soak into the wood.

Ronseal stain

Terrible product, despite sanding back to bare wood, application gave a streaky horrible mess. Will stick to normal stain and yacht varnish or coloured Danish oil next time.

NOT RAINPROOF

I bought this to protect a brand new wooden front door. I followed the instructions to the letter. Applied 3 coats rubbing down with fine glass paper between coats - 6 months on the door is wet i.e. behind the woodstain. Also a couple of joins in the door construct have started to swell. I think the door is salvagable and I'll use Sadolin from now which is a thicker solution and should give better protection than this rubbish. If tiou project is sheltered fromthe rain then fine but otherwise avoid!!!!
