New type plug
I bought this Plug cover it's okay but if you touch the plug when the sinks full of water it starts to drain the water out.

Completely useless
It is scandalous these things are allowed to be sold. They do not fit securely so the water just passes through. Absolute waste of money.

just the job!
I have a 1 1/2 bowl sink and don't use the pop up waste so needed a plug to overcome this. Having bought quite a few that were the wrong size, this one was just the job!

Vintage handbasin saver
With a period handbasin which no modern plug seemed to fit I bought this as a last resort. It does the job perfectly and, though intended for baths, looks unobtrusive and neat.
