Imagine an LED GLS light bulb that uses less energy and lasts far longer than incandescent filament light bulbs, all while managing to retain their traditional aesthetics and excellent light output. Also known as an A60 light bulb. The CorePro range of LED replacement light bulbs from Philips is designed to do exactly that. The example pictured here consumes just 13.5W and all but eradicates replacement costs by lasting upwards of 15,000 hours. Despite this, it's impossible to tell apart from the 100W incandescent light bulbs it is designed to replace. This is thanks largely to a frosted finish that obscures the LED componentry inside and diffuses the light evenly for a warm, comfortable glow. This allows the light bulb to perform exactly like traditional incandescent light bulbs, albeit much more efficiently, and for much longer. Features a BC-B22d bayonet (22mm) cap base.
