Would have been five stars given the price, easy enough to fit but quickly found out that the ceiling rose/cowl that covers the wiring is made of quite pliable and thin material. As the tabs on the bracket inside that take the screws are flat and the flimsy cowl is circular, if you have to screw it in with any force at all to secure it (let's say you've had to bundle the spare cable up in the cowl rather than chop it and its giving you the slightest bit of resistance) when you screw the cowl on it deforms quite badly. There seems to be a gap of at least a quarter cm on either side between the sides of the bracket and the screw holes in the cowl...ended up egg shaped. Actually had to add two slices of rubber cut off one of my son's small bouncy balls to actually allow to screw it in securely...it does however look nice now that it's up. It's unfortunate that the bracket is way too small for the size of the ceiling cowl

Perfect
Brought these as a temp pendant whilst I am having the house renovated. Had no issues with them at all. Looked great. Only replaced them because we went for a different style of light. Id recommend them.

Really poor quality. Rose won’t sit flush.
On the surface this looks great. When I came to fit it, however, the ceiling rose kept bending outward and wouldn’t sit flush. After much head scratching I realised that the bracket inside the rose was too small and the metal was too thin to resist. When screwing the rose to the bracket it pinches the sides in, bowing the perpendicular edges outwards. I tried packing with washers which made it better but the rose still would not sit flush to the ceiling. 2 hours later I gave up, repacked it and will be returning. I am actually quite cross that B and Q would sell an item with such an obvious problem.
