- Harmful if swallowed. Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye damage. May cause respiratory irritation. When the cement-based powder is mixed with water, a strong alkaline paste is produced. When set, cement-based products may cause both irritant and allergic dermatitis. Great all round product
Great little kit,gave me a perfect finish.I would suggest only mixing 1.25Kg at a time.

Garbage
This product is utter garbage finally finished tilling my bathroom and waited for it all to dry great this grout it and finish it off until I tried to use this garbage will never buy or use it again and certainly will never recommend it ..

A great product for very little money
I was a bit skeptical reading the reviews but for £20, thought I'd give a go and so glad I did! I used 2.5kg mix to regrout the white floor tiles of my galley kitchen.. had to add a bit more water that recommended to have the right consistency and used a drill and metal stirrer as the little wooden one provided in the kit is flimsy. The sponge and spreader are basic but do the job well enough. You also might want to buy a finishing tool for the joints if you don't want to use your fingers. I am not a builder and first time regrouting tiles, a month after doing the job, the grouting still looks great and hasn't moved or discolored.. time will tell but so far, very happy as it has given my kitchen tiles a new lease of life!

Poor
First time grouting and if you follow the instructions to the letter it's unusable. The 1st bag ended up like damp kitty litter. With the 2nd bag, I didn't use all the powder and it was better at almost set "Easifill" consistency. The included stirring stick bends like a young gymnast so that went in the bin. The spreader could be better I'm assuming. Overall, it took me well over half an hour to grout 6 tiles. I'm not a DIY muppet by a long shot, I can lay bricks, concrete, do some plumbing, chippying, Electrical, painting, spraying and a I'm a precision engineer by trade and a hobby mechanic, so I like to think I can use my loaf. That said, even though this was my first time grouting, I've learned from many others it shouldn't be this hard. I won't be using this product again. Utter codswallop.

great grout
Bought this to do a kitchen back splash and worked a treat. Unlike the other user i got a 50 minutes before it started to turn. My sponge wasn't great but then at the same time it worked fine for the area that i had. It mixed well into a creamy paste, the stirrer worked adequately. the spreader is a thin bit of plastic but it worked ok for the 3 mm joint i had. I did find i had to add a little bit more water to get my desired consistency but the product worked grout. What i loved the most was cleaning film off. It just came off with a rag.

Not as good as I had hoped
This was the first time I used a NX product and I was very disappointed. Firstly I though purchasing the kit would save me time and money. Unfortunately the stirrer was a small thin piece of plastic that was not capable of stirring the mix. The sponge broke into pieces after it had expanded and when used, small pieces of it stuck to the grout so I had to re-grout the area. The spreader was a very small piece of plastic, so I may as well have used an old credit card for the job. Then there was the grout itself. Forget the instructions about mixing it. You fill the tub with water to the indicated level for 1 packet of grout. You add the powder whilst mixing but after you have added about half of the packet the mix becomes very stiff. I resorted to using a chisel to stir the mix (which looked like ice cream just taken out of the freezer) but even then the mix became too hard to stir. I resorted in adding more water to the mix and did end up getting a stiff paste but it was very difficult grouting with this. The mix wanted to stick to the face of the tiles rather than going in the gap between them and once I had grouted a small area, the grout had already started to dry so it was extremely difficult to smooth over. Whilst doing this, the remaining grout in the tub set hard as rock within 20 minutes and not the 5 hours it states on the tub. I ended up purchasing a sponge and a grout spreader before using the grout so the only decent part of this kit was the re plastic tub it came in.
