Uneven heating, Noisy, Not worth the price

I replaced my 15 year old Neff microwave with C1AMG84NOB. This microwave is noisy, does not heat evenly, the heating ring gets hit if a big dish is used which makes the claimed capacity incorrect, steam condenses around the main dial and drips. The fan makes noise like a leaf stuck in the channel, the service agent simply said "that is the way it is", We have only used the microwave function and it is not fit for purpose. The only positive is that they send service engineers promptly, sadly the design is so bad that they cant do much!

Worked fine for first year

Worked fine for first year, now the oven is not getting up to temperature and takes over and hour to cook a pizza.

Poor imation of my former neff combination

I'm still getting used to this oven..I have to say that my last Neff combi oven was much better..it had 3 shelves that could pull out..This one you have to lift up to get the tray out..plus it's a waste of space a 44l oven with one shelf!

Good Product

Very pleased the only thing and I know it is for safety reasons is that you have to lift dishes out of the oven, unable to slide them out. Also tried to upgrade to the 4 year warranty with no success, transferred from one line to another.

Oven teview

Struggling to find and cookware suitable for my oven other than a glass casserole dish. No other cookware is compatible so cannot cook either a baking tray or roasting tin

Underwhelming and not a good microwave

Failed to heat food evenly as a microwave and now broken down in under 2 years of use as a microwave. Disappointed in such an expensive purchase. Purchased with a matching oven which is better but this as a microwave is a big NO sadly.

Worse than what it replaced in almost every way

This was bought to replace a 12 year NEFF C67M70 combi microwave/over, which had become uneconomical in every way. I wish I'd read these reviews before assuming it would be able to do the same as the previous oven and buying it anyway. Pros: it looks nice and was cheaper that the previous model from 12 years ago Cons: The shelf: as many others have commented, this is just terrible design. It's not possible to slide the shelf in & out, and it's fixed at a single level too far from the bottom of the oven so only shallow dishes can be used. I used to bake bread in the previous model, and could slide the hot cooking tin in and out on the shelf. Now I would have to physically lift the whole shelf up and out. This alone makes the fan oven useless for me, and I can't do the one simple thing I wanted. Why on earth was the decision made to remove slots in the metal sides of the oven so the shelf could be slid in & out? Plastic parts in the interior: again, as everyone else has commented, the shelf sits on plastic hooks rather than metal rails. How will this plastic stand up to 200+C temperatures over time? Non-metal oven floor: rather than a simple metal oven floor, this is a sheet of either glass or plastic with a grid pattern on it, a bit like graph paper, and with a rubber border all the way around. As with the plastic hooks this seems bound to deteriorate over time with repeated 200+C heating. why isn't the oven floor made of the same metal as the sides? Temperature limits: the previous NEFF model had a temperature range of 30-250C, but this model limits it to 230C. Why? My guess would be because the plastic parts used inside the oven can't really take higher temperatures. Arbitary temperature ranges: the fan oven allows temperatures of 40C, and 100-230C. If you want to set it to 30C, or 50C for example, then you have to switch to "warm plates" mode, and in that mode the temperature can only be set in 5C steps, so you can't select 32C for example. Why on earth isn't the full temperature range available in a single mode, allowing 1C increments? It seems that NEFF and Bosch appliances have taken a step backwards in the past 10 or so years. They're cheaper, being made in China now, and all have the inevitable pointless wifi addition, but it's as if they're now designed by people who don't cook, and haven't gone through even basic prototype testing by cooks.

Love it!

Have just bought a combination microwave and a separate oven. Still haven't got over my oven adoration. Hardly dare use it, it's so beautiful!

N50 Combo micro/oven replacement

Unit build and quality excellent but draught from cooling fan a real put off as the draught exits directly into ones face.

So versatile

So easy to use although the manual could have been laid out clearer. Easy to clean. The last neff combi lasted about 20 years so I have every confidence this one will last just as long.
