Looks great but easily broken
We have now used it to decorate fireplace area. It looks beautiful but tiles are easily broken even from their own weight as you hold it in your hands! The initial plan was also to use it at the entry floor - not anymore, our builder isn't sure, actually says these tiles wont hold human weight.

Look fantastic in kitchen
These tiles are very fragile and the floor tiler found them hard to fit as they kept breaking, however they look lovely once down and sealed. Hard to fit but fantastic for price and look amazing in a cream kitchen.

Poor
3 out of 10 tiles broken and 2 damaged. Being a natural tile I expected some variation, however the vary in width by a fair amount, flake like mad and have a huge variation in both colour and texture.

Very good colours, gives a real rustic look I want
I bought these tile but you have to mind the thickness is not all the same but it was what I wanted the rustic look, also they are a bit more, No a lot more difficult to lay but worth it although add a bit more for breakage.

Don't touch with a barge pole!
Client bought tiles, brought to France asked me to lay them on her kitchen floor. These tiles are rubbish twisted, bowed and very fragile! Don't buy these tiles!

Very wasteful
Around 15-20% of the delivered tiles were broken. This seems excessive, even after making allowances for the somewhat fragile nature of the product. Fortunately I had over-ordered, so just had enough to complete the job (tiling a utility room floor). Also the thickness of the tiles vary considerably, making the task harder. However, the finished effect looks fine.

Great for a 'hand-made' appearance.
Bought for a conservatory and I had worried about the quality. I did have a professional to lay them; he thought they were excellent value. Relatively easy to lay though some variation in thickness but that is part of the charm - something that looks and feels hand-made. Some good comments from friends and family. Maybe the only downside is that they are not terribly easy to clean with either steam or a mop but quite manageable with patience.

NIce colour, many broken in box.
I bought these tiles because they were a good price and they are a nice natural slate colour, unfortunately every box had varying numbers of tiles broken inside.

Beautiful
The slate tiles are simply gorgeous. Warning: They are not fully flat and the thickness varies. Need sealing. Get a professional to do it unless you are very experienced.

Appauling
Ordered a pack as out of stock locally, paid when ordering as per policy. Arrived today 19 days after ordering. Collected from store and brought home. Quality of product awful, I know slate is a natural stone and I didn't expect uniform colours but only the top tile in the pack looked remotely like the picture, one had gouges in it, one was completely grey and all were uneven and chipped. Took them back and was given a refund. Staff couldn't have been nicer.
