Ranunculus create peony-shaped flowers that signal the coming of Summer. Ranunculus should be planted in Sunny borders for best results.
- Soil moisture: Well drained
- Flowering period: June-August, Planting period: March-May
- Water well during dry spells. Top dress with a general purpose plant food as the last flowers fade. Allow foliage to die down naturally. Flowering results improve each year. For best results, soak bulbs in water for 6 hours before planting. Dig soil improver into the planting area before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole.
