• Soil moisture: Well drained
• Flowering period: July-September, Planting period: February-April
• When the foliage has died back, usually after the first frost, cut back stems to 5 cm above soil level. Not winter hardy. To over-winter, dig up the corms and store them in a cool, dry and frost-free place. Replant at the same time next year. Dig soil improver and bonemeal into the planting area before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole.
