Worst kit ever
I bought this kit for a simple installation nothing fits together and I mean not even close it's either 3mm to small and won't fit or 3mm too big and is lose and falls apart all plastic items are warped and it WON'T go together and as for the instructions it's like they have been written by someone who can't write or speak english

OK bit of kit but not great.
First of all ignore the 125mm size that B&Q give, it is 150mm X 70mm that gives the same cross section area as 125mm round. Most manufacturers refer to it as system 125. Many parts were slightly warped, so not easy to fit, but did the job. Good value if you need most of it, cheaper options if you are going to be left with 2 or 3 bits.

Great product
I bought this about a month or so ago when I installed a B& Q cooker hood. It was very easy to install and a very neat way to hide on top of my wall cupboards.

Forced to overbuy
Two sizes of ducting available but on the larger you cant buy the fittings or curves etc. So you buy a kit and throw half of the ends away. You can buy the joints and an incredible price..simple injection moulded joint at around £6 each.. thats after you buy the kit. The vent flap fails when fitted into box tube as poorly shaped and squashes flap unit so doesnt want to move freely.. overall poor overpriced system. Should sell parts seperate... think green!! Why force people to buy stuff that goes straight in the bin.. not impressed.

cooker Hood Vent Kit
I bought the kit rather than individual components because I was short on time and wanted to be sure I had everything needed. this kit is junk. The outlet louver does not fit the box section duct and is so flimsy that the flap dropped out and is too tight to be able to operate. this is probably the worst bit of kit i have ever purchased in 45 years of DIY.

cooker hood vent kit
This product was installed on the day of purchase and fulfilled its function perfectly. It is small enough to not be seen and big enough for almost any kitchen. Installation is straightforward.

New Kitchen
Just had new B&Q kitchen fitted and ducting finished it off nicely
