Perfect for DIY.
Great for a DIY workshop - the socket on top means it turns on when you press go on your sander, router or saw. Tools quite adequate for cleaning the floor after.

Good Value for Money
Good Hoover, very powerful and lasts a long time before bag needs replacing - used it to clear out a dusty loft. Blower function is useful as well. Cons. Only has wet pick up "brush" used another brush with wheels and roller brushes and this works better. Also the hose gets twisted so would have worked better with a swivel on connection to unit but this would have pushed up costs. Overall, good machine and I would recommend.

Great Shop Vac
Been using this for around 5 weeks in my workshop set up as a dust collection for my chopsaw, Bandsaw and belt sander. The power take off is great as vac switches on with my bench tools. For the price you cant go wrong, if set up right works great as a shop vac so why spend more.

Cheap Hoover
Brought the hoover this morning, disappointed the power cable couldn't be coiled up like with other vacuums. Also the wide head attachment is fixed so its a pain trying to suck up stuff off of hard floor. Tried it anyway and the bag ripped after 20 minutes, tried another bag and the hoover just doesn't seem powerful enough. I don't know what is meant to make this a professional vacuum cleaner apart from the ability to attach it to your power tools. Going to have to leave this in the workshop for power tools and buy a proper hoover for cleaning up.

where can I buy Attachments for Power tools
Workshop vacuum cleaner, for Power tool, but MacAllister do not sell attachments to fit their own power tools, or know where to get them, How are you supposed to use the thing? I have spent four days trying to find adapters no luck what rubbish

Poor attachments
Bought this Hoover today for sucking up water it's got good suction but the attachments are not that good I need the end attachment to the hose to in rubber to it picks up the water better. David

Mac allister with huge suction
Excessive suction, cannot be used on carpets. Tools do not stay on, can only be used with hose. Not the most stable. My burly decorator could not use it, so what chance a mere woman!
