Accessories are all plastic not metal as described
Works well but accessories and extension pieces are not as described, they are flimsy plastic and poor, don't expect to be able to vacuum a carpet with them. For general workshop cleaning or dust pickup, it works well.

Mac Allister 20L Vacuum MWVP20 ( Absolute TAT)
Nothing like as described on-line. B&Q failed to tell me about the electric shocks I would receive every time I touched it while constantly unblocking the pipe as the pipe diameter is much smaller than described. You will also need to purchase ear defenders whilst using this vacuum You would not be allowed to use this in an industrial situation .Only used for a light application and ended up using a SEBO Upright carpet cleaner to finish the clean up.Contacted Customer Services within an hour, waited in all day as requested for collection as advised, no one came while next day!!!!! Fourteen days later, and nine phone calls as requested by B&Q, NO REFUND!!!!! Do not waste your money on this dangerous product.

Great value with high spec functions
A great vac/blower with auto start/stop when a corded power tool is connected to it. Very light with a good construction. The specification is very good for its price, I would expect to pay 4x more for a top brand with similar functionality. The auto start/stop feature powers tools up to a specific rating, be sure not to overload this. Most power tools will indicate how much power (watts) they use. I bought this after discovering that MDF skirtings release very dangerous chemicals within the dust particles when cut with a power saw. I now use a pro grade face mask and this vacuum to avoid any dust exposure. I would highly recommend this for the DIY enthusiast.

Outstandng Value.
I purchased this vac about 8 months ago as an Vac come extractor for my small workshop/shed. It has not faltered once. I use it with disposable paper collection bags, for the collection of very fine sawdust and what ever gets sucked up at the end of the day. It is very robust and has a very function that when ie: a palm sander is attached to the collection hose and connected to the built in power socket, activation of the 'palm sander' causes the vacuum at the same time.
