MB3626V-Li-E Replacement Battery obsolete
I bought my lawnmower and battery some 5 years ago now. The battery has been stored over the winter months charged up and in a dry place. However, the usage of this has only been every 6 months so real term about 2.5 years worth or about 100 times. The battery needs replacing now as it wont charge and trying to get this battery is no longer available with B&Q. I have tried to get hold of one or its equivalent to no avail. Why sell the lawnmowers with out selling batteries, because at some point like all batteries they go so must be others to replace the ones that go. I cant be the other person to have bought this battery & so others must be in the same boat as me. Surely I should not have to buy a brand new lawnmower because of a battery

Wasted money
Had one with a chainsaw, worked well but now cannot get another! I will have to buy a new chainsaw when the one I have is perfectly good just needs a new battery. Will not be buying Mac Allister again

Absulty rubbish, won't charge batteries
Has a Mac chainsaw for one year, now battery won't recharge, showing faulty on the charger complete rubbish don't buy, replacement £80, well you can dream on, just going to buy another chainsaw that lasts.

It would be great if I could use it.
I bought the cordless mower but I can not get the battery or the charger so it is useless, thanks to B&Q i have spent good money on a worthless product, not happy at all.

Very good for the money
36v 4Ah reading the comments below I note that some have found the batteries will not recharge and have red light flashing, sorry to inform you folks it's user error as the battery will get warm during use and once finished and before being recharged needs be allowed to cool down otherwise an internal thermal fuse inside the charger blows and sets off the red flashing light sadly it's not a self resetting thermal fuse, so if one one charge you do not have enough power to complete the job buy a second battery, only improvements I would recommend to B&Q are review the instructions to advise the above and secondly fit a resettable thermal fuse

Easy to use.
Bought this battery April 2018 (last year), at the same time as a cordless mower. Worked great last year and a couple of times this year. Now, the battery will not charge. The red light flashes on the charger all the time while trying to charge the battery. So in May this year, it no longer works.

Very good battery.
Great battery, functions very well, however do buy the right one as the other one is more powerful. Secondly it is a pity you cannot buy this item WITHOUT the charger as I have 3 and they all came with chargers, why?

Don't bother...
I bought this to use to with a macallister cordless electric lawnmower. After 12 months I had to buy another one and now the replacement is not working either. I have only had it about a month and charged it probably no more than 5 times.
