What a load of Rubbish.full battery and flat after screwing in 9x100mm screws.stay clear

Annoying as when charged it’s great
I bought my 1st Impact Driver and the battery lasted no more than an hour, the charger kept telling me the battery was to hot, so clearly a fault. I took back and exchanged no problems. My replacement is great but the battery life is dreadful, must only last 1.5hrs and thats not constant use, really annoying when you have a 3-4hr project. It’s the cheapest of the bunch for a reason ! I wouldn’t buy again

Poor
Bought this about 2 weeks ago and only screws and un screws at least 5-6 screws into decking then takes 3-5hrs to fully charge again. Disappointed.

Worked for 3 months
When I bought this it seemed to do the job OK. Battery life isn't great and has a long 5 hour charge time. After around a total of 10 hours use putting as a drill driver for putting 6mm screws into PVC and standard screws into wood over the 3 months, it decided to just stop working. The bit holder had also stopped holding the bit in as when putting slight pressure on the drill, the bit slipped back. B&Q did replace the drill but I only have the remainder of the 12 month warranty left so if it goes again I will struggle to get a replacement.

Brilliant cheap impact driver
Bought this a few months ago to finish a job, I had to drill tex screws into steel beams and the driver worked no problem at all. Only thing that is lacking with this drill is a second battery.

Excellent tool!
I have reacently bought this and so far very impressed! PS the staff in the store were very helpful as I tried to buy this online as there was an online exclusive offer and it would not process. The staff were able to match the online offer price in store with no hassle at all.

Great value and optional spare battery
Was a little worried about purchasing this battery drill/driver after reading some of the reviews but i needn't have worried. The MacAllister 14.4v is capable of handling most medium duty drilling jobs and is ideal as a driver, especially with its built in LED light. Many reviews said you couldn't purchase a spare battery, however I rang the B&Q phone number on the bottom of the battery, gave the EAN barcode number 5052931304806 and I was able to order a new one for home delivery. Sorted!

Works well
I've had mine a prox. 6 months now and it's never let me down, it's a good tool to have in my tool box. Very good value for money
