Would not buy again
Just a bag full of shredded rotten wood. Not good for seeds. Only good for laying on top of garden soil to break down over winter. If it can’t be used for seed planting then how is it multipurpose?.

full of stones twigs and rotten wood
bought this product because i have always used this brand. this time 3 bags were full of stones/pebbles, dead rotten wood and twigs. I contacted the manufacturer who agreed that there are faulty products out there but did nothing to compensate for the shortfalls

Information compost/soil
Why can't you show contents of bags soil etc. with information uppermost? The bags are so heavy and some of us seniors are not weight lifters and cannot turn over the bags.

Good for plants
Usually buy this compost as I find it helps and settles new plants in better after transplanting, also already established plants as well.

Compost Purchase
I bought the bag that was not torn, from a pallet (about 8 layers high). Terrible layout because of the torn bags. Excellent product, shame about the store layout.

Rubbish
I bought this product for a friend but would never buy it for myself. I prefer miracle grow as the plants grow twice the size of normal compost

Levington mulipurpose compost
Really great for hanging baskets, it stays moist, not much watering needed. The guy that runs the garden section in welwyn garden city was very informative. What a great chap
