• Dig soil improver and bonemeal in to the planting area before planting, in heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole When the foliage has died back, usually after the first frost, cut back stems to 5cm above soil level. Not winter hardy. To over-winter, dig up the tubers and store them in a cool, dry and frostfree place. Replant at the same time next year. Flower bulbs may cause skin irritation - use gloves when handling. May be harmful if eaten
