It worked really well
Upon receipt of the product, I noticed that the packaging was very informative and had clear instructions on the proper usage and application of the product. The instructions were presented in an easy-to-read format, and they were straightforward to follow. I decided to use the product on my oven and hob grills, which were in dire need of cleaning. After using the product, I was amazed at the results as my grills looked brand new. Great results
Familiar with this brand, but didn’t realise they had a rust remover until now. Tried a few cheaper alternatives to clear the rust spots from my radiators but wasn’t happy with the results. Once I realised HG did their own version, I just knew it was going to work! Very simple to use, can dilute as required or use near. Results were almost instant overall I’m really happy and will use again for some bigger jobs!

Worked first time!
I picked up this product as the instructions looked easy to follow and the packaging was professional and caught my eye. I had some rusty metal fixings for a hand rail that had been in the garden that I wanted to freshen up. I followed the steps and they came out as good as new and saved me from having to buy new ones! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking to remove rust from items around the house!

Worked wonders
We have many tools going rusty and I wanted a rust remover solution. I bought HG to try as it mentioned rusty tools as a use on the back of the bottle. The instructions were easy to follow and highlighted warning so I put on protective gloves and tried 1 tool to start with outside. I used the solution neat and left it a few hours. After rinsing off the solution all rust had been removed. Very pleased with the product and will be using it again.

Rust remover
So I'm now on my second bottle of this product. I've used it in a variety of scenarios around the house. You can see one example in the picture below where I dinged the enamel in my bath and the hole got rusty so I just rubbed it with a tissue soaked in the HG and it came off easily. I've also used it on my shower caddy, on my kitchen sieves which constantly go rusty and on my worktops where they got marked. I wish that it was a thicker solution though so it stays on the item better and would be more potent. Does not smell too bad. A bottle will last you some time

Hg rust teomer
I like the fact it is odourless. I used about a third of the bottle in a wide glass jar and painted it on. Did a bit of gardening then hosed it down and then used a soft hand brush (from dustpan and brush) then washed it down again and treated a second time. With last remaining drop did some rusty pruning shears and still had some left so did the can crusher! It did make some of the paint bubble and come off but probably because of rust underneath. Even got the rust off the padlock. Now, need to do the sides and roof. It is a product that I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend
I used this product on my fence and gate. I have to say the results were amazing. After leaving the solution to soak for an hour majority of the rust came right off. I then decided to try it on my gardening tools. Following the instructions, I diluted the solution in a bucket of water and left my tools in it to soak. The bottle recommended 10 minutes but I left them in a bit longer. Once I took them out, I gave them a quick scrub and it they were like new. I plan on purchasing this again to help keep the rust at bay for both my fence and tools.

Great product and does exactly what I needed it to
HG rust remover cleaned up the rust on my metal gate in a flash that has been rusty and building up for many years! It was really simple and easy to use and I wasn’t disappointed. I thought it was good value for money and left my gate shining and completely rust free!

Very Effective
Used this product on my metal gate which had become rusty over the years. Once I applied this product I was pleasantly surprised that it had removed all the rust and brought the shine back to the metal. I would buy it again.
