Great for decking oil - but the pad will wear out
Bought this to do decking last year ... a refresh after painting it two years ago ... so so so so much easier! You have to be liberal with the oil but so easy to do, really good efficient coverage... my deck was 2*5m and I did it 4 times and now the pad is thrown away ... doesn’t deserve the reviews on here! So nice to stand up and do it .. made it a quick and easy job!

Good though refits seem to be a problem
Bought this and a brush and found it to be much better than expected. Only issue is pads can only really be used once.

Worked perfectly
Bought this set at the weekend for staining my new deck but was a little worried it wouldn't get in to the grooves so bought a brush too. Found it does get in to the groves and does a very good job of applying an even coat. Still have to use a brush to even out the ends as i expected

Waste of money
I used this on a 10sqm deck, one coat and it was useless! Not stiff enough to spread the paint so wasted more than I should have, did the second coat with a 4" brush not as fast but better coverage! Don't waste your money

Not impressed
Bought this last Tuesday. Told by an employee it was great for applying the stain. Complete waste of money. Still had to use a brush (A fifth of the price!!) to get in the grooves. Wouldn’t recommend this at all

terrible product
this pad set is NOT fit for purpose! it doesn't get into the groves of decking only the surface ...total waist of money

good - but limited life
beware - I bought one & it was everything you would expect of harris, great job until the fluffy pad wears out. I tried to buy replacement pads. B&Q don't stock.. in desperation I rang harris & was told they only made these kits for B&Q who only ordered kits, not replacement pads - therefore not available!

Design fault
Brilliant for the first two minutes, then the extension pole broke at one of the section joints. An internal plastic thread broke inside the tube so it was impossible to repair. I had to improvise with gaffa tape to make a temporary repair.

Rubbish - Avoid!
Thought this would be ideal for waxing a large decking area. How disappointing to find the large pad was rubbish at getting down into the grooves on the deck. I ended up doing the job with a 4 inch brush - back breaking but at least it was done properly. Expensive and now I know a complete waste of money.
