Hammerite lives up to its reputation
Excellent. I bought this paint for a nest of three ornate metal plantstands that had got very rusty and am delighted with the result - they look just like new again. I was dubious about whether it would cover the rust but am well pleased. Very easy to apply and dried as quickly as the tin stated.

Smooth Metal paing
This was recommended for painting the soffit vents on my property which are metal, as an alternative to replacing them costwise. I have had lovely comments about my new soffits because they look like new! A good quality smooth paint. 2 quick coats and the job was done. Very pleased with the Hammerite results and would use again.

Did the Job
I bought the paint to cover some outside metal chairs. It needed two coats, but has probably saved the chairs from the recycle centre (for the next couple of years, at least).

Ideal for task
I restored a cast iron bed frame using this paint. The frame was black and battered, came up well after two coats of this paint and now looks absolutely superb and ready for another 100 years.

Like New
I painted an old aluminium garage door that had been losing its paint for the past 12 years or more. It also had wooden surrounds. I am not saying that the paint is recommended for wood but for ease I painted everything with the white Hammerite. I must admit the job looked like a professional had done it. Very pleased with the end result. I dint quite have enough with one tin of 750 ml but definitely worth the journey to fetch another tin.
