Red oxide
Very good red oxide easy to apply and gives a good think coverage, only disadvantage is takes long time to dry before you can re coat

Red oxide paint
purchased for painting over a rustysteel girder. Easy to apply once loose rust scoured off. Competitive price too, as some online sources charge rip-off prices for smaller size tins,

Great product, fair price
Bought this to prime a radiator we were painting to match our walls. Great coverage and a good finish with minimal faff. Cleans out of brushes easily too!

Can't be beaten on finish a rust inhibition
This is one of the best rust treatments you can buy. On rusty steel, one coat will stop rust in it's tracks, even with no top coat. Furthermore the finish is flawless with a good quality soft brush, perfect for tractor bodywork restoration for instance. It stays the same consistency down to the bottom of the can, unlike Hammerite Rust Beater. I would buy Red Lead ahead of any other rust treatment paint.
