Good quality for the price.
Slate tiles are uneven and have irregularities which was expected and challenging to lay but final product looks very nice. These tiles need to be glazed which we did and we are happy with the end result. Not for people who are looking for a perfect product that's easy to lay.

Read this to understand why some bad reviews.
These are a natural product!!!!!!! Therefore they will not be uniform and smooth. Those who have reviewed otherwise are clearly idiots. I have used these (in 300*300 size) outside on pathway steps for over a decade. They look absolutely fantastic and have withstood all the weathers. I wouldn't recommend for a bathroom or kitchen as will be awkward to clean, however hallways, conservatories, porches etc as well as outside will be ideal.

worst purchase ever
I unpacked two boxes of these tiles, they were so uneven in thickness and bent and also flaking I didn't attempt to lay them just sent them back

Loved these!
We had to replace our en-suite floor tiles and these were the nearest we could find that were similar. But in fact I love these more. They are a really dark slate grey (I would say nearly black) but they are nice with a dark grey grout as opposed to white we had before. They do the job and are just what we needed, in fact they are better than the picture on the website.

Great!
Despite reading other bad reveiws I am really pleased with these lovely natural stone tiles. They do take a bit of time to lay but once down they are solid. A bit of flaky slate comes off as it wears but thats just the nature of the material. Only a few split tiles out of 10 packs which could be exchanged in store. We also used the same 300x300 tiles which were generally thinner and more fragile.

Not as seen in store
I purchased these tiles for my ensuite shower room, in store on display they looked great for being natural tiles. However on arrival the tiles are very rough, have sharp corners and not do not lay flat on the floor, which make them useless. On inspection I thought it could of been a faulty packet but to find all 29 boxes faulty. Extremely dissapointed as I waited 3 weeks for these to arrive and now having to return the whole lot and look elsewhere. Putting my new en-suite at a further delay. Would not recomend to anyone.

Kitchen Floor
After seeing tiles on an instore dispaly and buying a sample, we used the reserve and collect service to get them. However the tiles supplied were very different to those on the instore display and the sample, in that they were no where near as smooth and varied both in the depth of the tile and smotthnes of the surface. It will take a lot more time to fit the tiles than origmnally allowed for.
