Wood Glue
You need to use wood glue to hold it together, but once you have done that, you will not be able to tighten the fixing if it becomes loose from the wall. Maybe I should have also used glue when fixing it to the wall. It COULD be a good product but has its drawbacks. This review is relevant for all of these wooden pole supports sold by B & Q.

Mal conçu
Matériau de qualité, mais le système de fixation est mal conçu. La vis de fixation du support mural empêchen d'insérer correctement le support de la barre (du fait du volume de la tête de vis). Il est donc impossible de visser la petite vis de maintien dans le trou initialement prévu... Nous avons dû fraiser le bout de la barre pour faire un emplacement pour la tête de vis. De surcroît nous l'avons payé 1 euro plus cher que le prix affiché sur internet... Reste à voir sur la durée... Non bricoleurs s'abstenir.

Utter rubbish
Flimsy, poorly designed and shoddy manufacture. Only 1 screw fitting to hold the bracket to a wall. Arm does not fit snugly into base so the whole thing wobbles about when assembled. Pre drilled holes in arm are incorrect and don't account for wall screw head depth. Typical B&Q - top money for bottom quality. Embarrassing.
