Fantastic white paint… better than more expensive
I have always used the most popular brand of paint in the past - all other makes I just considered a waste of money and time (lack of decent coverage) but this paint is great. It covers most dark colours in 2 coats, it doesn’t drip or splash when using a roller and is low in odour. It’s a great consistency and is easy to apply… even the Matt… it glides across the wall.

Lumpy and sticky
Very difficult to work with. Lumpy and sticky- paint came back off with roller. Gave up on this and bought valspar instead. Decent coverage though, was covering a navy blue. But did have to go back and sand down the dried clumps, or remove them with my finger while still wet.

Why the negativity?
Absolutely superb Matt Emulsion which punches way above its price. The Paint will cover dark colours in two coats. It's nice and thick too so it's easy to apply and less mess. It's my go to on budget jobs, never let's me down.

Don't believe the critics
Just repainted a bedroom which was formerly in a lurid pink emulsion with this white paint. Reason for choice of brand was that I had an unused can stored from a couple of years ago which did the first coat superbly. So I bought another 5L can for the second coat and there is no pink paint now. No smell. Easy to clean brushes and the paint was of a thick consistency and not "drippy". (Some paints are thin and splash and drip, run up the brush handles etc). Well worth the money and I am glad I chose it for the ceiling and walls.

Horrible smell
The paint itself is ok nothing but the smell is absolutely horrendous, smells like wet shocks left in a sports bag. We painted one room and the smell is now everywhere!! I doesn’t go away, disgusting

The NEW cans of this product have tiny 'matt' and 'silk' labels. Don't get caught out like I did!

Strange Smell
I bought this paint at the weekend and having used it there is a very bad odour coming from it and I may have to buy more paint from a different make to get rid of it.

Best paint we have ever used
We bought both Dulux one coat and Goodhome paint. Goodhome paint was half the price and absolutely brilliant to use. We only had to apply one coat with Goodhome but two coats with Dulux one coat. We used around 5 litres per room with smooth thick applications and it was fenomenal.

This product is great.
Bought this before Xmas to do my ceilings. Used 8t on wallpaper and flat lining paper. Absolutely lovely.paint. The coverage is really good. I loved the look when dry. Easy to apply Just bought some more.

poor coverage
dont buy awful coverage waste of money buy named brand instead in the long run cheaper and much faster
