Features and benefits
- The larger diameter of the pole can carry heavier weight curtains (such as blackouts) without bending. Can be used with loop, eyelet and tape header curtains + rings
- Suitable for window widths between 120cm and 210cm
- You can easily cut the pole to size, to get the right size that fits your window. Be sure to measure the space before cutting the pole
- When deciding the length of a curtain pole, allow an additional 12.5 to 15cm on either side of the window to ensure your curtains will fully draw

Not the best
Can easily lose the screw if you don't keep it pointed towards the floor when threading the curtain and reattaching the end

Metal curtain pole
The pole itself is good, however, it does not come with curtain rings and screws for mounting, which made it a more expensive buy. It didn't even say the would be needed. At least electrical items say batteries not included.

How ridiculous, no screws or wall plugs!
Just opened the packaging to find that there are no screws or wall plugs with this curtain pole. No clear indication that they are not included on the outside of the packaging, in fact they tell you that you need a philips screwdriver which would indicate to me that the screws are included! It's only when you check on the website that it says no fixtures and fittings included. Apart from that, it's a good looking pole.

Poor
No screws or wall plugs. You should ideally use roundhead scews because the brackets are not countersunk but getting the gold type is like hens teeth. A really poor marketing stratergy .

A tiki extendable curtain pole set
I purchased a B & Q Antiki extendable curtain pole set only to discover that the ‘ set’ failed to include any curtain rings ,at all, and ,low and behold, no screws by which to attach the brackets to the wall. I did purchase the curtain rings which, incidentally, cost more than the curtain pole itself. It makes me wonder if B & Q have adopted a similar business model to that of the highly esteemed airline Ryanair. Yes that’s it: screw the public for every penny that you can! However, I have decided to return to B & Q; But not to purchase those all essential screws.Instead, I am handing my incomplete curtain pole ‘set’ back to them, together with a kind invitation for them to install their ‘extendable curtain pole set’ right up their own B & Q! Well done to this company for displaying such an admirable modern day business philosophy and securing yet another satisfied customer.

Not for for purpose.
Appears good in the box-does actually look good mounted on the wall too… However, 2 large issues: 1) Not supplied with screws or rawlplugs. And it says nothing on the box about this. So having returned home to hang up the pole I then had to make a second trip back to the store to purchase appropriate screws etc. 2)The join where the pole is extendable is too great for the curtains to move along the pole. So I can’t shut the curtains…not ideal. I’ve spent hours today adapting the curtain fitting to try to get it to move past the join when being drawn. Don’t buy this. Save yourself the time and stress. Buy one from another home store that will come with screws, a pole that is usable and possibly even curtain rings.
