Features and benefits

DOES NOT include screws & wall plugs!!
The description states that’s fixing and fittings are including and that is NOT the case! There are supposed to be 6 screws & wall plugs included and there’s not! I haven’t a clue which screws I now need to go out and buy! So annoyed. It was also a nightmare to get out of the ridiculous plastic packaging where they seem to have set you a challenge of trying to get the stupid thing out!

A saga
I confess I looked in the G**** first. I really wanted a Harrison type rail that you can't see from inside the room even tho it had torn out the hook tape which needed a big repair. They didn't have any, nor could I see how the rails extended so I went off to B'n Q.. .. They didn't have any Harrison style either but with the generous fuddy duddy card holders' discount the price was about the same so I took the nice plain white rail with plain ferrules (ends) over to the check out and asked if I could see inside how the thing extended. 'NO NO - we have a room full of boxes with missing parts'. So I was fed up by this time and bought the rail anyway and took it outside and opened it up and the extendy bit is slotted inside the main rail so I put it in the car and driving away in the mirror noticed one of the fixing brackets on the ground .... Anyway I got it home and opened it again and, oh dear, there were no curtain rings included and never were. So I wasn't going back to spend more at B'n Q. I got several packets of rings at the G**** and some neater fixing brackets which all came to nearly as much as the rail.... Home again, my existing hooks did not fit the rings so another trip to a sewing shop was necessary to get those to fit the rings to the curtains.. It's all up now and IT LOOKS V NICE, but the tape is beginning to pull where the rings have to be dragged over the join where the extension slots in...

Good value
This was easy to install and looks good. It extends to fit the space perfectly. A good buy.

Problems
web page description says screws and plugs included. Not included. - no fitting instructions provided - one of the 3 finials provided did not fit the pole. Only discovered once it was up so it had to come down again - frustrating. Fortunately the 2 remaining ones fitted and I only needed 2.

Scratches easily
Few scrape marks on the pole, looks lovely up And can’t really see the marks, unless looking for them. But over time of opening and closing curtains, I think they’ll mark up pretty bad. As not the best finish on them. Also VERY annoying the pack didn’t include screws or plugs.
